Warehouse Receiving and Dispatch Overlap
A distribution warehouse normally uses one forklift for receiving, replenishment and dispatch. During a promotional period, inbound containers arrive while customer orders must be loaded before a late-afternoon cut-off.
Renting one additional unit allows the existing forklift to remain on warehouse and dispatch work while the rental unit handles receiving. The benefit comes from separating two simultaneous workflows, not merely increasing the fleet count.
Planning focus: loading cut-off, container schedule, bay availability and movement volume during the overlap period.
